Privacy Policy

This policy describes how MIBCON handles information when you visit marbleconference.com or submit an application for the MIBCON Marble Show. It applies to this website and its event-related submission form.

Information you provide

If you submit a Marble Show application, we collect the artist name, contact name, phone number, email address, your response about why you want to participate, and the marble-work photos you upload. The form accepts up to five JPG or PNG photos.

How we use it

We use application information and photos to review Marble Show submissions, contact applicants, and administer the selection process. A submission does not guarantee selection. We do not use this form to enroll you in a mailing list.

Where information is processed

The application service runs on Google Cloud. Submitted details are stored in Google Cloud Firestore and uploaded photos are stored privately in Google Cloud Storage. The submission and its photos are also emailed to the MIBCON host at marbleconferencehost@gmail.com for review. Google may process this information as a service provider under its applicable terms and privacy policies.

Who can access submissions

Application information is available to the MIBCON organizers who review and administer submissions and to the service providers needed to operate the website and email delivery. We do not make submitted application photos publicly accessible through the website.

Retention and deletion requests

We keep application information for as long as it is needed to review submissions and administer the Marble Show. We do not currently publish a fixed deletion schedule. To ask a question or request deletion of an application, contact marbleconferencehost@gmail.com. Some copies may remain in email or service-provider backups for a period of time.

Website services

The website uses Google Firebase services to support the organizers’ administrative sign-in and website operations. The public Marble Show application does not require an account. Items in the shop may link to Stripe-hosted checkout pages; payment details entered there are handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy, and are not collected by MIBCON through this website.

Cookies and site measurements

This site does not intentionally use advertising cookies or third-party analytics to track visitors. Google Firebase may use browser storage or similar technologies as needed for administrative sign-in and service operation.

Children’s information

The Marble Show application is intended for artists and their authorized contacts. Please do not submit personal information about a child unless you are their parent or legal guardian and are authorized to do so.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or its information practices change. The “Last updated” date above indicates when the current version was posted.
